Darren Donnelly
Co-Founder & CEO
Darren Donnelly brings more than four decades of experience across engineering, manufacturing and business development, with a career built around the transportation and industrial sectors.
Beginning in engineering and metal fabrication in the 1980s, Darren went on to establish, acquire and develop a number of specialist engineering businesses, including MDF Engineering Ltd, Star Tankers Ltd, SDC Trailers Ltd, Ulster Shredders Ltd and Fruehauf Parts & Services.
His experience spans manufacturing design, operations, infrastructure, logistics, project delivery and commercial strategy, giving him a practical understanding of what it takes to develop engineering solutions and successfully bring them to market.
Today, as Co-Founder and CEO of Valor Power, Darren applies that experience to the development of next-generation energy technology, including Volt Station, battery energy storage and high-performance EV charging solutions.
His focus remains the same as it has throughout his career: engineering practical solutions, identifying opportunity and building businesses designed for long-term growth.
Christopher McAnearney
Co-Founder & Managing Director
Christopher McAnearney is a Chartered Engineer and qualified electrician with extensive experience in the design and delivery of complex energy and electrical systems.
With a Master’s degree in Energy and Building Services Engineering, his expertise combines hands-on electrical experience with advanced engineering knowledge — spanning power systems, battery energy storage, EV charging infrastructure, distributed generation and intelligent energy control.
Throughout his career, Christopher has led the technical development of commercial energy projects, with experience across electrical design, power electronics, system integration, earthing strategies and software-driven energy management.
As Co-Founder and Managing Director of Valor Power, Christopher leads the engineering and technical development of Volt Station, bringing together battery storage, high-performance EV charging and intelligent energy management within one integrated system.
His combination of practical electrical experience and Chartered Engineer status brings a rigorous, real-world approach to the development of Valor Power technology — engineered for safety, performance and the demands of modern electrification.
